| Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or currently pursuing a Diploma in Elementary Education (by any recognized name). Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 45% marks and passed or currently pursuing a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by any recognized name), as per the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or currently pursuing a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or currently pursuing a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). |
| CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII): Eligibility with Code December  2024 |
| Graduation and passed or currently pursuing a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (under any recognized name). Graduation or Post-Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or currently pursuing a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). Graduation with a minimum of 45% marks and passed or currently pursuing a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), as per the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued periodically. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or currently pursuing a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or currently pursuing a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or currently pursuing a B.Ed. (Special Education). Candidates who have completed a B.Ed. program recognized by the NCTE are eligible to appear for TET/CTET. Additionally, as per the TET guidelines in the NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011, individuals pursuing teacher education courses recognized by the NCTE or the RCI (as per the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010) are also eligible for TET/CTET. Post-Graduation with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade and passed or currently pursuing a 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. program. |
